QUESTION OF PRIVILEGE - Ms. Pelosi rose to a question of the privileges of the House and submitted a resolution for consideration. Ms. Pelosi was recognized for the purpose of offering argument on whether the proposed resolution constituted a question of privilege. Subsequently, the Chair ruled that the proposed resolution did not constitute a question of privilege. Ms. Pelosi appealed the ruling of the Chair and Mr. McCarthy (CA) moved to lay the appeal on the table. The Chair put the question on the motion to table the appeal and by voice vote, announced that the ayes had prevailed. Ms. Pelosi demanded the yeas and nays.
