An amendment, offered by Mr. Bucshon, no. 1 printed in House Report 114-440 to make technical changes to the bill; change the short title; change the effective dates; provide for the Secretary of Health and Human Services to have the time necessary to correctly implement the bill's provisions; add a requirement for the IG of the Department of Health and Human Services to report on implementation of the requirements regarding providers disenrolled for reasons related to fraud, integrity and quality; and finally, to clarify that the fee-for-service provider directory is to include physicians and, at state option, other providers, and provide other information that could be included in the directory. As modified, the amendment's second instruction is clarified.
