The House received a communication from Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Leader. Pursuant to section 1238(b)(3) of the Floyd D. Spence National Defense Authorization Act of Fiscal Year 2001 (22 U.S.C 7002), as amended, Ms. Pelosi notified the House that she has appointed Mr. Michael R. Wessel of Falls Church, VA to the United States-China Economic and Security Review Commission to fill the existing vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Jeffrey Fiedler, to serve for the remainder of the term, effective January 1, 2017.
