The House received a communication from Brian Perkins, District Director, The Honorable Jackie Speier. Pursuant to Rule VIII of the Rules of the House of Representatives, Mr. Perkins notified the House that he had been served with a subpoena for testimony as a witness in a criminal trial issued by the Superior Court of the State of California, County of San Mateo and that after consultation with the Office of General Counsel he had determined that compliance with the subpoena was consistent with the privileges and rights of the House.

Pursuant to the permission granted in Clause 2(h) of Rule II of the Rules of the U.S. House of Representatives, the Clerk notified the House that she had received the following message from the Secretary of the Senate on April 23, 2018 at 1:02 p.m.: That the Senate agreed to H. Con. Res. 115. Interparliamentary Group and the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom.

Con. Res. 115. The Senate also made appointments to the Canada-U.S. Interparliamentary Group and the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom.
