This week LegiStorm added Georgia to our growing list of state legislative staff directories as part of our StateStorm product. StateStorm is available with a Pro Premium subscription.

LegiStorm adds four more states to state legislative staff directories

LegiStorm has addded Arizona, Florida, Tennessee and Texas state legislative staff directories to our StateStorm product.

 Already a part of our StateStorm legislative directory are staffers from Alaska, Hawaii, California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. 

 StateStorm is a part of our Pro Premium subscription.

LegiStorm adds member military service search

LegiStorm updated its Find a Member feature to allow subscribers to search for and build custom contact lists of members of Congress based on their military service and awards. 

Pro and Pro Premium subscribers can use the Find a Member feature to create and save custom lists based on state delegation, committee membership, caucus membership, political party and freshman member status, as well as biographical details such as education and now military service. These custom lists can be used throughout the site to identify lists of staff contacts and receive StormFeed alerts of new press releases and tweets of interest are published.

LegiStorm updates contact list data to better represent gender diversity

LegiStorm updated our contact lists to better represent gender diversity in our data. Congressional and state legislative staff who do not identify as male or female, or who prefer they/them pronouns, will be included in our contact lists with an "Mx." prefix (as opposed to Ms. or Mr.). Congressional staff contact lists are available for purchase by non-subscribers. LegiStorm Pro subscribers can build and download custom contact lists of congressional staff and members of Congress. Pro Premium subscribers additionally have access to state legislator and state legislative staff contact lists.

LegiStorm offers additional ZIP and ZIP+4 to district matching services

LegiStorm enhanced its ZIP and ZIP+4 to district matching service, based on feedback from our subscribers. In addition to providing a spreadsheet of ZIP codes matched to the members of Congress or state legislators who serve this area, we now offer the ability to save a contact list of all of the matched members or legislators. Our custom contact lists can be used to generate spreadsheets with detailed contact information. Our Pro Premium subscribers can set up Lightning Alerts to receive email notifications of updates if there are changes to the members or state legislators representing these regions.

LegiStorm Adds More State Legislative Staff Directories, Distance Search

LegiStorm added state legislative staff directories for Ohio, Hawaii, Alaska, Massachusetts, Wisconsin and Illinois - joining the directories for New York, California, Pennsylvania and Michigan which were launched last week as part of our StateStorm product.

Available with a Pro Premium subscription, StateStorm also now includes a regional search function so you can find the state staffers you need, in your area. 

LegiStorm adds House 2019 Q4 salaries

LegiStorm has processed and published the latest salary records for staffers in the House of Representatives that were released by the Clerk of the House. Over the last week, LegiStorm has cleaned and extensively edited the data, which covers the period from October 1 to December 31, before publishing the salary information online. The next release of salaries is expected in late May, including reported data from both the House (which releases data quarterly) and the Senate (which releases data semi-annually).

Today, LegiStorm rolled out a major expansion to our StateStorm product: State Legislative Staffers. We've launched the four states with the largest staffs so far, and plan to release a half dozen more soon. The remaining states will be released in the coming months. The state legislative staff modules includes contact information, social media links, and a growing body of biographical material. Pro Premium and Pro Gov: Office subscribers have access to state staff directories, advanced search, list buliding and state district maps.

LegiStorm adds general election results to member and candidate profiles

LegiStorm now displays general election results on the profile pages of people who ran for Congress and received over 1% of the vote in the 2016 election cycle.  LegiStorm editors will be updating the general election data to include the 2018 results immediately after election day. This update is part of a series of features LegiStorm is rolling out this fall to help subscribers track member and staff changes from the mid-term elections through the start of the new Congressional session.
