The Fundación José Ortega y Gasset (FJOG) is a private, non-profit making institution devoted to cultural activities, debate and research for the dissemination of the Social Sciences and Humanities. Inspired by the figure of its founder and the important role he played in the society of his time, the Fundación was created in 1978 by Soledad Ortega Spottorno. From that time, it has been presided by its own founder, Leopoldo Calvo Sotelo and Pere Duran Farell, Antonio Garrigues Walker, and its president is currently José Varela Ortega.  read more
