The Bond Dealers of America is the Washington, DC based organization that represents securities dealers and banks predominantly focused on the U.S. fixed income markets. The BDA is the only organization representing the unique interests of national, middle-market dealers. In addition to federal advocacy, the BDA hosts a series of meetings and conferences specific to domestic fixed income, in addition to economic surveys and an annual compensation survey.
The Bond Dealers of America is focused on the unique business, market practice, regulatory, and legislative interests of middle market, sell-side, fixed income dealers. This homogeneous group of firms, along with staff based in Washington, DC, lobbies on federal legislative and regulatory issues while simultaneously offering programming and publications dedicated to this demographic of securities dealer.
Programming ranges from an annual conference to key regulator and policy maker meetings in Washington, DC to half-day roundtables and forums dedicated to fixed income senior management or focused on business or market practice issues like technology, compliance, operations, and new products and trading strategies.
