The Clerk transmitted to the House a facsimile copy of a letter received from Jonathan Marks, Commissioner, Bureau Commissions, Elections and Legislation, Commonwealth of Pennslyvania, indicating that, according to the preliminary results of the Special Election held November 8, 2016, the Honorable Dwight Evans was elected Representative to Congress for the Second Congressional District, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
