The House received a message from the Clerk. The Clerk transmitted to the House a facsimile copy of a letter from Ms. Mary Sue Helm, Executive Director, Kentucky Office of Elections, indicating that, according to the preliminary results of the Special Election held November 8, 2016, the Honorable James Comer was elected Representative to Congress for the First Congressional District, Commonwealth of Kentucky.
