The House received a communication from the Honorable Theodore E. Deutch, Chairman and the Honorable Jackie Walorski, Ranking Member - Committee on Ethics. The Chairman and Ranking Member of the Committee on Ethics notified the House that on February 26, 2021, the Committee received an appeal from Representative Louis Gohmert of a fine imposed pursuant to H. Res. 73, that the appeal was received after the Committee adopted its written rules and that a majority of the Committee did not agree to the appeal.
