The House received a communication from the Honorable Theodore E. Deutch, Chairman and the Honorable Jackie Walorski, Ranking Member - Committee on Ethics. The Chairman and Ranking Member of the Committee on Ethics notified the House that on February 23, 2021, the Committee on Ethics received appeals from Representative Andrew Clyde of two fines imposed pursuant to House Resolution 73 and the appeals were received before the Committee adopted its written rules. The Committee informed Representative Clyde on March 9, 2021, that rules had been adopted and a majority of the Committee did not agree to the appeals.
